SEEYN is a membership-based network, offering a wide range of possibilities to its member organizations in change for a clearly defined level of proactive engagement.Full membership gives an organization decision making power on the Network Assembly and the possibility to put forward candidates for the Steering Board.
Associated Membership is an initial status of new member organizations for the duration of one year. Associated members share the same possibilities as full members within SEEYN but are excluded from the decision making process. After the one-year trial period an evaluation is made and full membership can be obtained.
The current SEEYN Structure is based on three pillars: the Network Assembly, the Steering Board and the Secretariat.
The Network Assembly: Here policy issues are being discussed and decided on twice a year among all members.
The Steering Board consists of 5 members, meets 4 times a year and decides on issues connected to project selection, trainings selection, internal management strategies, SEEYN representative’s selection. It finalizes issues and initiates new ones.
SEEYN Secretariat is the coordinating and administrative body of the network. It is seen as a potential consultant or manager of the Network. It overcomes performance management gaps, makes information available and transparent, and insures the best possible functioning of the SEEYN structure.
