WHY? (project background)

SEEYN has done an internal needs analysis with 22 of its member organizations – youth organizations of different profiles, size and capacities where three of the most needed capacity-building support were project writing, project management, and networking. Quality youth projects (from idea to implementation) bring sustainability of youth work, raise capacities and motivation of youth workers, contribute to the recognition of youth work, bring better impact to young people and society, keep young people motivated and engaged, raises quality of learning and involvement through youth work, raises civic and democratic engagement and brings recognition to youth work.

Main aim and objectives of the project: 

THE AIM OF THIS PROJECT IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF YOUTH PROJECTS, FOSTER THE INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO PROJECT-BASED YOUTH WORK AND ENCOURAGE QUALITY STRUCTURED NETWORKING AND COOPERATION IN YOUTH FIELD.

Specific Objective 1:
Enhance socio-professional development and international cooperation of youth workers by strengthening their capacities in the field of project writing and project management and empower innovations in finding solutions and developing ideas.

Specific Objective 2:
Increase quality and strategic approach to cooperation and networking between youth organisations, as well as with youth bodies and authorities.

Specific Objective 3:
Empower and support youth organizations to exchange knowledge, experience and practice and create a positive civil society environment in the region for recognition of youth work.

Specific Objective 4:
Promote and mainstream Erasmus + programme as one of the most effective ways for youth workers and youth organizations in Europe to receive quality capacity building, advance their efforts in topics of interest through projects and strengthen sustainable relationship between WB and EU.
